About East Coast Gym

At East Coast Gym, our mission is provide a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for our members to meet their individual fitness goals.

East Coast Gym has been open for 30 years, but recently upgraded to a new location! We now provide 24-hr access to all members. East Coast Gym provides a wealth of fitness equipment. Whether your goal is bodybuilding, power-lifting, hybrid training, or overall general fitness, East Coast Gym has everything you may need to meet those goals. The gym includes a number of cardio machines, strength machines, squat racks, space for dead-lifting, free weights, and a new space designated for exercises such as sled pushing/pulling and battling ropes. East Coast Gym also offers individualized training programs for those who are interested in a more structured approach to training or who have specific fitness goals.

What makes East Coast Gym so unique is the warm and welcoming environment. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile from owner, Marvin Chappell. You are also likely to be greeted by some of our long-term members, who make you feel right at home. At East Coast Gym, there is no such thing as “gym-intimidation.” Members get to know each other and constantly work alongside one another supporting each other through workouts.
